The One Where I Celebrate

Baby steps! I will say to myself as I continue down the path of self-improvement.

Each day I celebrate the small victories.

Today was one of those days. Florida in the Fall/Winter can be a mixed bag, weather-wise. Today was one of those perfect days. As I ran my errands for the day, I felt like teen-age Rex.

Window down, music playing, wind in my hair, and solving problems. One of my rentals had an electrical issue. I call my trusted electrician and he is able to fit me in today. Great!

After a few hours, I get a call. Easy fix, Rex. Some of the wires were loose and I replace a breaker. Cost, less than $200. Win!

It wasn’t a big thing but the combination of a great day and taking care of a tenant problem with ease made me feel like I could conquer the world.

No, I didn’t make a lot of money but today, I’m celebrating.
