The One Where I Travel Back In Time

Kathie and I have been binging the Time Traveler’s Wife today. I’m a sci-fi buff and I believe Kathie finds the main character Henry, the time traveler, attractive. Win-Win.

As well as being a Sci-Fi series it is also a romance story. Both of us are suckers for a good romance story. Part of the storyline is how Henry meets his future wife when she is six years old. He bounces back and forth between the past, the present, and the future. You can find the series on HBO/MAX.

Having met in high school we have a romance story of our own. As we watch the show together I think back to our past life. The small things could have amounted to big changes in both our lives.

Had I not had lunch with Nora at Winter Park High and had her introduce me to Kathie. Had I not asked Kathie out on a date. Had she not agreed. Had we not dated all through college.

The children and now grandson we would not have today. The life we have enjoyed with each other for the past forty-eight years. Looking forward to the next forty-eight years.

It is all the small instances in life that can make a world of difference to us all. Celebrate the small wins and hold those around you just a bit closer today. We all are time travelers with our own stories to tell.
